Spongebob Squarepants

"SpongeBob SquarePants" is a popular animated series created for the Nickelodeon network by Stephen Hillenberg. The show is a sit-com, depicting various forms of sea-life as they go about their daily lives on the sea floor of Bikini Bottom.

The main characters consist of SpongeBob SquarePants, an idiotic but well-meaning sponge (porifera); Patrick, his even more idiotic starfish best friend (echinoderma); Squidward, an irritable cephalopod neighbor who pretends to know the finer things of life without ever having experienced them (mollusca); Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob's boss, a crustacean restraunteur whose greed is his overriding concern (crustacea); and Sandy, a squirrel (sciuridea) who lives in an encounter suit and is, apparently, the most mature and stable of our cast.
