umm, pine beetle infestation ? Indeed. Portals is also right, since a pheremone patch has been used to try to combat the pine beetle infestation. The pheremone released is one that tells the beetles that the tree is already occupied. The hope is that they will then move on. Sometimes it works but i...

Save as .bmp, then open it in MS Photo Editor and save as .png and see if that does you better. :) I always save my spamusements as .png files because they don't try to group pixels (or whatever it is that .jpeg files do). I found this comic hilarious. The bite our of the chocolate box is the icing...

*sigh* The Ent Quickbeam was regarded as a very "hasty" Ent for answering a question before another Ent had finished: the end may only have been another hour away. Actually, I think that's Treebeard with a miniature Merry and Pippin sitting on his hand. (Come on, Hobbits aren't that small...

I read this post last night and laughed and laughed, but I didn't really have anything to add to the thread. Now I can say that this comic is hysterical and point out to kvn8907, who's joke was a brilliant follow-up, that the word he was looking for was "reign".

 This is great. It's literal, yet totally wacky. Maybe it's just the mood I'm in, but I just can't stop giggling at this. On street perspective, all you really need to do is rotate the yellow line 90 degrees. Right now it looks like he's walking along the street instead of crossing it. That doe...

Last month, people started talking about how it was June-uary. It was fairly cool and not very June-ish. Now I'm very surprised at our July weather. It's very much like June-uary again. Normally it's 25-30° C and very dry. I don't really mind though because anything between 10°C and 30°C is fine ...
