The Times' T2 supplement runs a daily feature called "The Click" in which three websites of interest are given brief reviews. In today's issue Spamusement was number two:

Maybe some famous person will read the article and come here looking for fresh talent, and we'll all get gussied up like Aunt Bee and the folks did when the Hollywood producers came to Mayberry, but it backfired because they lost that small-town charm that attracted the producers in the first place, and they'll throw a rock through our window.

It's just a collection of interesting websites. They obviously considered the site interesting. I don't really see what you're getting at. Should they not cover the site because it doesn't concern the UK? It's not necessarily an endorsement Ã¢â‚¬â€œ they have covered opposing websites in the past (both Don't Date Him Girl and ClassAction-DontDateHimGirl.com have featured, for example).

All that said, another regular item in T2 is Modern Morals, which is written by Joe Joseph, a man seemingly incapable of refraining from sickeningly unfunny and barely relevant topical references in each of his daily appearances. Exagerrated example:

Reader:
When I receive letters, the stamps are often unfranked. Is it ethically acceptable for me to re-use them?

Joe Joseph:
No, it's wrong. Just like it was wrong for Dick Cheney to shoot someone in the face.

Seriously, he couldn't leave the Cheney thing alone for a good two weeks. Sure, it was an amazing incident, but the ceaseless and entirely unfunny references got extremely tedious.
