You didn't; stevenf is just too busy with work or unwilling to carry on. Or maybe he's just dumbstruck by the fact that there's a bustling guest cartoonist community even though he hasn't done anything in months.

The fact that he still checks up regularly is a sign that he's going to keep it alive. Besides, it's an extension of his site (not Spamusement, his real site), so I don't see why he'd kill it as long as the hosting is free, which it obviously is, if there are ads.
