Best Main Page Spamusement Ever?

Postby MysticalDescent » Wed Jul 26, 2006 1:22 pm

Personally, I liked (in no particular order):

*Do not Forget About Mother
*I've never seen such a fox
*MARRY CHRISTMAS

These three were absolutely brilliant works of brilliance by his brilliancy, StevenF.

Wow, it's hard to choose. But a special place in my heart has to go to Discover how I automated my recruiting, because it was the newest comic when I first visited the site.

Honourable mentions:

Would you let me in your dreams

Your Life Ins. Company PRAYS you will NEVER SEE this.

I know who is responsible for most of my troubles

Ah dammit, I forgot my actual favourite. BLAH.

Definitely.

Also, did anyone point out 1-4 extra inches makes a massive difference and Have you ever benefited from a smallcap? already?

And a new one, recent one - actually the last as of this post: not appreciated for what you know.

I have to say that there are some quite excellent choices here. I forgot about the 1 - 4 inches one, 'would you let me into your dreams' and the 'are your doctors too far away' one.

This is probably the first one that ever got a genuine guffaw out of me.

That said, Dusk Bringer cites another excellent spamusement. Actually all of these are top-notch, so far.

But then we'd have no posters and that'd be sad :(

It's really, really tough to pick a favorite. However, I do remember this onegetting under my skin the first time I saw it. I giggled every time I thought about for the rest of the day.

I'm not sure what my favourite is, but for me this is the most memorable spamusement. I do quite love it.

There needs to be a Spamusement podcast. It could have to do with the forumites and/or the front page.

Why did I post this comment here?

Because it's cool.

YES! I laughed at that one twice, because I interpreted it it two different ways. The first time, I interpreted it as the guy cleaning his ear in a "WTF did you just say?!" way, and even though that was a stupid way of interpreting it, his expression cracked me up too much to think about it. Then later, I realized that him putting his finger in his ear was the joke, and laughed again, because of his expression.

Also, he looks eerily similar to Billy Corgan.
