It makes you think. 46 years after you die, will your name be used in a popular online comic?

Winner of the "Most uses of "the Lord" on a tombstone" award

I mean, c'mon, what, was the guy a priest or something?

I think maybe the Lord has more "the Lords" on his tombstone.

This grave shall become a mecca of sorts for Spamusement fans. We shall make yearly pilgrimages, descending upon an unsuspecting town that will have no idea why all these college kids are visiting the grave of some nobody who died 50 years ago.

Actually, this is a great link too

http://www.throwzini.com/central_us_event_2002.html

Check out the skills of Troy. Lord, no wonder you took Troy from us at such an early age. Lord, with knife throwing like that, surely he doth deserve a place beyond the pearly gates, amusing the throngs with inexpertly tossed kitchen items.
Why are you waving your hand?

Hey, we're not all college kids! I graduated several months ago! That said, you'd be forgiven for being confused by my youthful good looks. But you're a stereotyping bastard, you fascist!

I said college kids because those are the types least likely to be tied down by crap like jobs and children to make the pilgrimage, you goddamn old timer. Your heart might give out during the walk, grampa; why don't you just stay at home in your rocker?

....LUCKY. I hate you. I hate you for being apparently older than me (or is it "I"? At this rate, I'll never get a diploma...), therefore going into college before me, and leading to you receiving a diploma before me. Argh!!

Worthy opponent? Like in one of those movies where a tyrannical despot rules over a post-apocalyptic city with an iron fist and no mercy, and then some brash new guy comes into town and stirs things up, and all the bedraggled citizens rally behind him because he's going to take down Lord Zuthos once and for all? Is that what this is? Because I am not brash!

College kids?

Postby supai » Tue Nov 15, 2005 3:55 pm

Hey, I am 44 years old! I HAVE kids in college! And I am the one in our family who discovered Spamusement! I got the college (and high school) kids in our family hooked--we can no longer look at a bottle of maple syrup without breaking into hysterical laughter....people at the grocery store think we are insane. They are right.

OK, I re-started college this quarter, so I guess I am a college kid. A really old one.

When I grow up, I want to be like you! Raising my children to laugh at insanity!

Oh yeah? Well I get to complain about bloody students using up all my bloody tax money. And I can have a sensible alcohol-free evening followed by a nice early night. Yep, I've got it made.

Polydent denture adhesive
Soft food
Bing Crosby's Greatest Hits (on vinyl)
