According to psychology (maybe), we all have a tendency to assume genders for titles of people regardless of whether we know it or not.

If I said "Dr. Smith," you may not think all of a sudden that a woman would be a doctor.

If you say "Hippie," I get an image of a group of people. Thus, James's claim to Hippie androgeny is true. True!

I think it's because Muttley only does his evil laugh when something goes wrong for someone else, he loves laughing at other people's misfortunes... Subtle or something.

And just for the record, I know several girls who are most definitely hippies. But I don't go around poking them.

dang straight. I did a whole year of psychology at university, at least two lectures' worth of which I turned up for. I got a Third in it!

If you say "hippie" to me I get an image of me beating you with a dictionary and telling you to decide whether you mean "hippy" or "hippies". God dang creative spelling. You can can go fÃƒÂ¦rie your bunni whence the sun doth not shyne. I went a bit Elizabethan at the end there. I'm comfortable with that; are you?

Oh yeah? Well I went to Robert Plant's house when I was a child. Apparently he hangs his gold records in his toilet (as in the room, not the device). I can't remember whether that's actually true because I was very young at the time.

The best bit is that I don't remember a single bit of it. But yeah, one of my aunts used to be his neighbour. Apparently we had dinner together or something.

Even better: I once saw Tony Hart doing cartoons in a church. He's so great you don't even know who he is.
