Whats the difference between an engagement party, a bridal shower, and a bachelorette party? I know in an engagement party you celebrate the engagement. But what's the point behind a bridal shower?

I saw this one sign up and decided to look at the user profile and, sure enough, spam links. So I went ahead and broke all the links but didn't ban it. Amusingly, it went ahead and made its spam post just after that ...
