Okay, maybe not, but my RAM fails sporadically if it isn't foggy outside.

I take it you mean 23°C outside temperature, not computer[cpu/case/whatever] temperature ? either way, you should consider cleaning your fans or getting new ones...

13°C is cold. maybe you're cold, too. let's hope that changes within the next 3-4 years! ;P

40°C is way, way too hot. 30°C is somewhat acceptable as long as you have a swimming pool. how good is your air conditioning, nurvingiel? Oo

23° is about perfect... but it was hotter than that in my office. And I was tired and grumpy. And earthquakes are not weather.

Humidity is also unpleasant.

Indeed. It was also humid that day. I'll leave James to complain about the weather now, because he's British, so he should be the expert at it.

I feel the weight of a whole nation's expectations on my shoulders.

It has been irritatingly hot and/or humid recently. I don't care if it's arctic to those of you who live inside ovens. What's important is my discomfort and its resolution. Also, it doesn't help my post-lunch sleepiness at work. I have to keep finding excuses to get up and walk around to prevent me from nodding off at my desk. I make strategic use of toilet visits to give me a brief break. That's quite sad.

I too do not enjoy humidity, though the fairly mild humidity here in Vancouver seems to be good for my guitar.

I don't have air conditioning, but I do live in a nice, cool basement suite. As it has been stupid and cold from May onward, I don't actually know if the suite can withstand 40°C. As long as I can sit around drinking iced tea with only short walks to the grocery store to buy more Rose's Lime Cordial I don't mind 40°C at all. :D

My computer's internal temperature hovers around 40°C.

HOW THE HELL DID WE GET A THREAD WHERE PEOPLE JUST TALK ABOUT WHAT THE WEATHER'S LIKE IN THEIR HOMETOWN?!

That said, forecast for tomorrow is partly cloudy. High 81F, low 64F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

(This has to be the most boring thread ever. -.-)

When powerful U.S. Lumber lobbiests stop being such dickweeds.

I just remembered that I have a fan on my desk. I've been so used to it sitting there doing nothing all winter that I didn't see it any more.

Happy Swiss national day. :D

Happy it, but I suggest the Swiss find a less utilitarian name for it.
