The comic itself is worth praising again. I met up with my brothers this weekend and we were talking about this very comic and how it took us a few times to actually get the "JOCR" part, and we were cracking up remembering all the "bat" things. Eg. bat logoed frame framing the bat logo, bat vase, bat flower....

Uh... my guess is that a bat-pineapple is more macho than a bat-knife.

You know, everything batman related was transalated as "Bati-something" (Read that as Bat-ee- something). I don't blame them, "Murielagomovil" doesn't sound as appealing as "Batimovil".

It actually would be "La batimesa". or "The bat-table" in dear spanglish.

I was amused as yesterday my mom was watching "Maid in Manhattan" and JLO's mother in the film said "Call Señora Rodriguez". My reaction was: "WTF?" She's missing a word, it should be "Call la señora Rodriguez", but then I remembered that she was a "pocha". And it was a simpleton movie anyways.

Yay for my rants bringing back a cool comic!

I was looking for something specific and came across too many laughs...so I had to threadsurrect a few.

Hmm. Didn't know that. Too bad in some ways; Murciélagomesa kind of has Added Alliterative Appeal. :D

This comic is old enough to be in elementary school. I still love it.
