You know, I think this is causing a lot of people to have to put in a submission too late, when they've already done it ahead of others, just because they're trying to do it themselves.
It also seems that more than a few have been done without checking, and nobody has had a problem with them. So stop checking before hand. If the general consensus is that nobody can do it, then issue a different challenge.

Stub articles can be a help in that there are only so many paths out of there. If you're working backwards, stub articles can be a pain in the neck.

I don't think all tapir are endangered. I think one style is one of the most endangered monsters around though.
