Scariest website ever

Seriously. Let's take perfectly lovely children and make them look like plastic dolls. Baby doesn't have enough hair--we'll add it. (The first child is just the beginning. Go through the rest of the horrors, erm, samples.)

There's a difference between retouching and destroying. That's destroying.
Made ya look.

It's always interesting to see someone trying to enter the uncanny valley from the other direction.

Good point. I was trying to figure out why it was creepy.

it looks like someone who only knows a few tricks in photoshop trying to make money off of people who don't know any better...

Oh no... My eyes are bleeding yet again. I really should stop looking at threads in the Internets section, it's really bad for my vision. This is why I don't wear contacts, they'd get all smeary.

I'm not even going to click on this, I already know how I feel about the subject and I don't want to be forced to throw my computer out of the window.

I like my computer, I like my window.

Congratulations, you took a child and made her look exactly like Janet Jackson.

I... don't get it. Why would someone want to have people who are obviously not professionals take an inexperienced photoshop mouse to their kids' pictures and make them look like dolls? Who would hang a picture of a doll on their wall? THE SKIN LOOKS PLASTIC. THE EYES LOOK FAKE.

Anyone else think it funny that a website specializing in artificial beauty is called "natural beauties"?

I'm not going to open those, but my friend was telling me there's a website where people take portraits with their dead babies.. like, they dress them up and take a family photo..
I... can't get my mind around that one. It's just too insane.

At first I thought they just made dolls of the kids.

I do not condone photo manipulations of this degree.
