Basically you can play these videos together in whatever combination you want and will still get something harmonious out of the results.

I cannot decide at all whether or not it works. I think it does but...I don't know. It seems to, yes.

I guess it's more textural than melodic. I like textural, though.

HEY EVERYONE LISTEN TO STARS OF THE LID BUT BEAR IN MIND THAT THE MIDDLES OF THEIR ALBUMS CAN BE A BIT DULL SOMETIMES.

This was good. I shared it with lots of people.
The aussie spoken word one annoys me. The clarinet on the stairs guy is great.

Yeah, the clarinet. He makes it. Xylophone guy annoys me a bit and there's one or two that seem a bit anonymous if you have them all going. I like it though.

Glockenspiel?

Apparently the "xylo–" in "xylophone" comes from the Greek word xylon, which means "wood". I couldn't say for certain that that thing is a glockenspiel, but I won't let that deter me from being pedantic over the xylophone thing.

The description for the individual video says it's a "Glass Marimba".
And that's terrible.

I guess I said it was "melodic" when what I should have said is "it is not a pile of random noise like one would get when playing ordinary youtube videos together". Not a huge fan of the spoken word part either, but the good thing is that you can, of course, just not play that one. But yes, I got a link to it from some other forum and just tripped the frig out on this the first time I did it.
