Hear about the whole Comedy Central censors South Park thing yet?

It wasn't over crude language, or being politically incorrect or crude cartoon nudity. It was an episode where various world religious figures were roundly mocked, including Mohammed. Matt and Trey are not amused.

I guess Comedy Central was afraid they'd stir up Muslim extremists, so they censored the content to avoid that.

yeah, i actually made a point to watch that episode before i knew there was anything wrong with it (in some alternate universe i mean ) and i thought the extended bleeps were part of the joke. then i got up this morning and saw that article about how some muslims were protesting the show and it was edited by the network. and also that they not only didn't re-run it at the normal time but they won't even make it available on their website like they usually do yeah, apparently the terrorists *have* won....

Oh, since this is being brought up it seems relevant to ask this here. A young Turkish girl at my work apparently told a co-worker that she wanted a cartoonist to die for making fun of the Prophet (I'm not sure if this was what she was referencing). I asked my Palestinian friend if she knew of any verses in the Koran that mention peace and/or forgiveness that I could keep in mind in case this sort of thing comes up again. She hasn't been able to get back to me yet because she's always super busy, so if anyone here would happen to know of any that'd be great.

Why not google "quran forgiveness quotes"? When I did, a bunch of quotes came up. Of course, I'm probably on some list now.

She's only a 2nd grader, I think. She's generally a nice, curious girl but can be very bossy at times. She's also upset because she thinks Europeans hate Muslims, and I don't want her anger to cause her to fulfill negative stereotypes about Islam. That said, yes, I do only see her for after-school care five days a week, but I may as well try.

I think it was the whole context of "at work." So we somehow assumed she was in the age range of 15-22 as a co-worker, instead of 2-9 as a client.
