Yeah, it wasn't the brightest crowd... I still feel pretty good about it, being my first attempt. I was half-expecting to get up to the mic and immediately puke, ala It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia.

The MC definitely got my closer, though. It was the only time he was still laughing when he got back up to the mic.

Ha! Well, that was pretty durned god for a first timer. Well done.
When are the finals?

Well, I pretty much bombed my second set. So, I went back up for the new contest this week. I was definitely one of the best that night, but the club owner thought it was too raunchy, so I didn't qualify for the next round. He said beforehand that he wanted a clean set, but wouldn't define "clean" as anymore than not saying poopcakes or fork.

Yeah, it was pretty brutal. Public humiliation is never fun. Sometimes you just get a tough crowd, though, so you can't take it too personally.

Is Dusk talking about a different video? I notice you changed the video. Did you have the video of the bombed round before? Because I sure did not notice lights being turned off. I mean, I wasn't watching the whole thing with my eyes because I had important spamusement to read, but actually well I guess I don't really need to continue this sentence any further.

It's supposed to be a five minute set, so they dim the lights at four minutes to let you know you only have a minute left.
