What? You like other sites besides Spamusement? Unacceptable!

Alexa

Postby James » Sun Apr 14, 2013 5:53 pm

Prompted by a Wikipedia footnote, I've been exploring the information Alexa has to offer on various sites I visit, and the one I work for. For example, the entry for Spamusers indicates that the second-most productive search query in terms of bringing traffic here, after "spamuser", is "hovermidget", which would appear to lead to this comment by Binkatron. Weird!

Also, Spamusers is ranked higher than Spamusement. Also weird!

My guess is that more people ask Google about spam users and make a typo than actually want to look for Spamusement.

I fully support having more comics with hovermidgets.

Huh, and it happens to be a thread for a strip I made. Interesting.

Whereas I think they made a slightly different typo and are looking for a place to pontificate about luxury resorts.

(You know, as in "spa musers")
