About that lame quiz I made a while ago

Postby EsBe » Mon Jul 11, 2016 11:43 pm

So there is a thing on the Features page of Spamusers.com which is the Spamusement Pop Quiz!. This is the first software application I ever wrote, and it is appropriately terrible. I am amazed that it still functions. Not that it should...

For the past [lots of time, jeez where did the years go] I have kept that as my pet project and bit by bit made it suck less and less until I could confidently say "this certainly isn't totally terrible." That quiz is here on my personal site and if anyone would appreciate a mostly-usable-and-not-totally-terrible Spamusement themed quiz, you folks probably would.

Also: Hi. What's up?

That was fun. I missed a few, somehow. Maybe it's the intervening 10 years or something. Anyway I had a lot of fun doing that, so thank you :)

It took me a minute to figure out the interface, but I had to stop when I realized that (a) I had no clue on at least half and (b) I should probably get back to work....

Pretty sweet, I like it, but it took me a few seconds to figure out the layout. I got 15/18 though. :) I like that it gives different comics on refresh.

12 out of 18. Lots of fun, I enjoyed that.

so I decided to waste time at work and I keep consistently getting 13/18 :| I recognize several at a time but the rest are just guesswork, and apparently I'm not a great guesser.....

For extra funsies you can use a query param to change the size of a quiz and make it easier or harder...
?n=12

I loaded up the fffuuuuuu version for laughs and ...it is aptly named

Still only got 10/12 but at least it repeats some of the ones I know I missed so I can pick the wrong one a second time!
