Okay, it's the ultimate geek's comic. But despite being based around a huge D&D game, it's actually really funny and the story, while never really serious, can get pretty interesting, at times.

I wasted several hours this weekend reading all 300 episodes!

That's a wonderful comic, thanks for the link.

Sounds like me about a month ago.

Me and some of my friends are now regular readers of this comic.
We actually get some of the DnD related jokes, since we play a little. :p

Every time this gets re-bumped I wonder why I haven't read all of these.
Incidentally I'm a 13th lvl sorceror/elemental savant

this comic makes me want to play D&D even though I only played when I was really little and I didn't know how, my brothers just let me play in their games (they always made me be a thief for some reason)

Because 90% of the time, thieves are useless?

I always insisted on being a fighter. I was basically the thag to my brother's linear guild.

I went to the forums to see if there was any word on why there's a hold up, and got side-tracked by a thread about Haley's secret. And who did I see posting there? Judas!

Hi. *waves hand* :D

I actually stumbled across that place barely a day after I found this one. At least I think that's how it works out. I know that OotS is listed after Spamusement in my favorites list, and that's pretty much in chronological order.

Yay! It was updated today! *Look at the comic before you read my post*

I feel really bad for Haley, apparently her family abandoned her or something, and she blames herself. Also there is the whole thing about her hoarding money in order to save her Dad.

I like how they're finally giving the characters. . . well, character. Full-blown backstories. Haley's is pretty sad. I'm curious as to what Belkar's and V's are. Especially V.

I just finished reading all of the episodes. I like it alot. Especially Belkar - he's what I'm like why I play - I sometimes hack and slash old musty skeletons and inanimate objects just for the heck of it. And kill everything except the team.

Not likely, because that would require disclosing his... her... well, I'll settle on its... gender. ;)

eventually they're going to have to show up with V's wife/husband.
I think it'd be great if you couldn't tell what V's spouse's gender was, either. ;O

Wow. I never paid much attention to V's androgyny. But you're right, they never really specify. Hm. Still, I hope they give a backstory for him/her.

You didn't notice? They made several jokes about it (I think)

I always thought they were jokes towards his sexuality, not his gender.

People see/hear what they want to, Chrono.

Anyway, the first comic V was in, I thought "Gee, I'm stupid... is that a he or a she?" Then they began to make jokes about it - it turned out I wasn't that stupid after all! In a few of the comics, ...it... does room with Haley, though, which leads me to think ...it... is a she. Someone should put the gender-changing belt on V and see what ...it... becomes!
