I was a zombie in a very bad zombie movie.

Catass was an extra a couple times when he was younger...the only one I remember though was Wishmaster, I think. I have a Wishmaster STAFF shirt from him, which is awesome-cool!

Ha ha, don't be. Not only was I cut out entirely, but the movie itself has pretty much disappeared into obscurity. As I was typing this I wondered if the thing ever made it to DVD ... Ha! It only barely made it to VHS, apparently. I'm guessing the tape sold incredibly poorly as it seems to be next-to-impossible to find.

That site is amazing! All those live cams! The kitten cam is cute, but I am totally obsessed with the honey bee landing zone. Which is weird because I'm usually quite apiphobic.

fork you, Luis Moreno.

I almost hit an owl with my car once, but it was his or her fault for flying low to the ground over a highway at night. And I avoided it, thankfully.

haha yeah... oh god. I'm in at least three training/information videos explaining things to cameras. Ugh.
I signed up with a talent agency once but never got a call.. I accidentally walked on to a tv show shoot once, though.
Oh, I was also in a commercial for an amusement park when I was little.
Fame.

my girlfriend and i both accidentally walked into a tv show shoot once as well. at the louvre, in paris. turned the corner and the whole hallway was blocked with camera equipment. apparently it was for some french soap opera, or at least that's what someone else told us as we were being shooed away by angry people near the cameras.

I don't know if any footage of this survives, but I had to do a lot of "human videos" when I attended an evangelical youth group. They were sort of just slightly choreographed movements set to music--not dancing, presumably because most of the kids in attendance had at best tenuous grasps on the concept of rhythm. Oh, and they always illustrated a moral lesson. That was key.

I'm struggling to understand this description in a way that satisfies me. It was people, moving, with (but not necessarily to) music, and it (ostensibly) communicated moral lessons?

Yes, that's precisely it. I found a clip of one from my old youth group, if you want to get the visual. Keep in mind that it was so cringe-worthy that I could not finish watching it.

The uploader had this one, too, which is more disturbing. And I'm pretty sure I saw it in person.

I dunno, I'm kind of digging the bizarro Gumby proportions of the performers on account of the aspect ratio fail. That and Plato's brief cameo as backyard wrestling coach.

And actually I'd say I'm more disturbed by the uproarious screaming and applause at their conclusion.

Yeah, we were an excitable crowd.

After this one I promise I'm done. I'm not mocking these people's convictions, just the bizarre and perhaps misguided manner in which they choose to express and/or propagate them. That's my opinion of them now, fully acknowledging that I once regarded them with earnest. Anyway, suffice it to say, this human video features a cardboard box simply labeled "PORN" quite heavily.

I watched a minute of that first one, and it gave me an uncomfortable "flashback" to feelings I had when you first started talking about your experiences after you'd distanced yourself from them...

I have just discovered Bad Lip Reading. You'll probably want to turn off subtitles (hit the "CC" button), I think it flows much better that way.

Some "readings" are better than others. They kinda stretch it for some, but some of them, like "They crushed his cape! They crushed his fuzzy cape!" had me laughing my ass off

I missed half of the Grammys this year, but I can still say with confidence that this was the best thing to come out of them.

highlights of Noel Gallagher's commentary track from a DVD of Oasis videos. I like maybe three Oasis songs, but this is hilarious, sweary, and apparently also Karl Pilkington-esque*. If there's one quote I now wish I'd one day have the opportunity to say in real life, it's "is that a man with legs made of sausages? That's not real!".

* I say "apparently" because I have no direct experience with anything Pilkington-related, but various other people who've posted this link have made that comparison.
