I made a good cocktail. It involved...

A bunch of raspberries mushed up and crushed up against the inside of the glass
A shot of Grand Marnier
A shot of cranberry juice
All topped off with soda water. I'm not sure how big the glasses we use are, so I don't know how much soda water it was.

I shall name it after myself (provided I haven't just replicated some other cocktail by chance). I also have another recipe which needs a little bit of perfecting before it becomes a Hello Turbine. It's close though... so close I can smell it.

I made healing potion last night. It featured a litre and a half of pomegranate and blueberry juice, two litres of sprite, a cup of frozen-up tropical squash and about half a bottle of sloe gin. Also, we bought vinegar bottles from the random crap shop in town and funneled it into them so we each had a vial to drink from. It was the perfect shade of red. Then Ed put more gin in it and it became rather sickly. I think Luke took some pictures. I don't have them yet.

Limes! Also we had four limes. We should perhaps have had more limes.

I hosted a cocktailcrafting get-together this weekend! Now Freeman has swine flu. Anyways, I actually finally got round to creating the Hello Turbine.

Hello Turbine

1/2 shot Grenadine
1 shot Gin
Top off with grapefruit juice
And a tiny bit of tonic water for purpose of make fizz
Oh and a quarter lime. Juice, not the lime itself.

It is in an short glass, by the ways.

It's sour! It was conslithered acceptable by most. I guess Gina and Freem don't like sour cocktails.

Other cocktails were also made, but they're of no interest to you folks. I have set aside a stolen school workbook for recording delicious improvised cocktails. Actually I may have to take some cocktails from this thread.

Wait a moment, I'm sure the ntw3001 involved rum or such. Sneh.
