For the love of sweet Jesus, if there is ever some Spamusement meet-up, PLEASE either wait two years, or permit underage drinking!

... Which reminds me. I went to a pirate vs ninja party last week. I ended up giving 50% of the attendees rides home because they had way too much rum and saki... I shouldn't have been driving by any means, but I figured if any of them tried to drive we'd ALL be dead, and I'd only had a few rum n' cokes. (Pirate ftw)

This is funny, because the next day, several of the attendees asked me why I didn't come. Hell, I gave Aric a ride home and crashed at his house until 6AM, and even he didn't remember if I was there.

My friends drink too much.

You wouldn't have to wait two years if you'd just all have the good sense to cough up the air fare and come over here. Much easier on everyone, I think. Well, everyone who's me.

I found it funny when I learned that in the USA you can vote at 18 but can't drink until you're 21.

But... drunken voting is the best kind of voting!

Are you allowed to vote drunk? Like... if you staggered up to the voting place and decided everyone was trying to fight you but you wouldn't want to harm them because you were both tough and kind, would they be allowed to turn you away?

You can also be drafted to serve in war, be tried as an adult (and generally be more stringently oppressed by the law), and get terrible terrible cancer from smoking.

But you have to deal with it all sober for three years before you can drink your misery away. Maybe the government is in cahoots with the liquor manufacturers?

I think it's crazy that in America you can drive five years before you can start legitimately worrying about whether you're too drunk to drive. IT'S A WORLD TURNED TOPSY-TURVY!

If you're driving drunk before 21, you deserve to have your chances of reproductive success damaged (as by death). I don't want your genes hogging the water in my gene pool.

I did some cocktailcrafting last night, after cockail shopping. We made mojitos, but the ice wasn't really fine enough so the mint kept floating to the top. They were nice anyway. Then we made something with Grand Marnier, raspberries and soda water. It was pretty nice.
