Wow, this is pretty tough. I limited myself to a dozen tries for now cuz' I'm kinda busy... and so I was only able to get to 326.51 yards. Cool game, though- I'll play more later.

I seem to remember there being a target range-type one at the bottom of the page. That's not beautiful. That's shooty. But the rest are quite lovely. I like the squirrel one (partly because it has an end).

That would be 'Tang. The apostrophe is entirely necessary in that case.

Ha! In your case, maybe. We don't need apostrophes in Essex. It forms a word all of its own, and looks far more stylish written down. Compare:

"Finally, some tang!" (stylish way)

"finally, some 'tang!" (man-suffering-from-hiccups way)

That said, there's very seldom any need to write it down. Well, except when explaining how it's written down.
