I had an NES but we only had Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt. I think we eventually had Super Mario Brothers 2... and then we got the SNES, which is still my favorite.
Made ya look.

I've definitely never played on a NES. Let's see how it goes...

600. That's not many.

I loves me some SNES. Never was much of an NES person. SMB2 rules, though.

1725, I would have scored higher, but, despite the fact I had the robot that went with the game, I couldn't come up with the name for "Gyromite" (Which shows you how much I played the game, the only thing ROBB the robot was good for was playing the "alien invader" who'd terrorize my lego brick and hot wheels car towns before the army showed up and took him out with a whiffle bat)

I never had a NES. I got 975. Apparently I'm a(n) 'NES moron'. Most of what I did get was things I played on other systems or things referenced in later Nintendo games.

Mario's voice was terrible.

It said at one point that I had a brain the size of a koopa. A koopa is pretty big, brain-wise.

At least as tall as an ordinary Human who's eaten a Super Mushroom to double his height.

Actually that always confused me about Super Mario. Is post-mushroom his real height, or is he double-tall? If the former... okay. Why does he shrink when he gets hurt? If the latter... dude the Princess is twice his size.

900.... I thought I would do better than that, but I can't say I'm terribly surprised though.

Same for me and I agree with Mario's voice being terrible. Was that supposed to be an Irish Italian Mario?

I can do Mario's voice pretty well, actually. I will try to post a sound clip.

Also, I haven't taken it yet, but was this actually made by LiquidGeneration? It seems like their style. If not, I guess they were just copying LG, but still... quite the blast from the past there. Results forthcoming.

Aw crap, I was worried this would happen.

Total score: 1950. Video games have been my friend since I was a wee child. That and emulators.

Gaiden should NOT have been in the "impossible" round... medium, at worst. Look at me, I'm even disagreeing with the nerdiness of a test for nerds!

May I just say, that is an adorable dog. I am filled with joy and possibly also wonderment. (I would add "and excrement, but that would just ruin the mood. And technically it's not excrement unless it's left the body. I've said too much already- up, up, and away!)

Does nobody think that puppy is a litle bit absolutely terrifying? I imagine it eight feet tall, lumbering up to be in a dark alley trying to sell me drugs.

He's not terrifying. He's scary in the manner of crazy guys who obviously won't physically harm you, but who are quite likely to make extremely awkward conversation with you. And they look funny so you can't look directly at them. That's him.

A lot of people like that came to the library. It was odd trying to help them.
