I just scanned this in from Private Eye, so it's not really a news article, but it's a decent parody of recent events.

Yet more Vehicular Booyah...

Man goes on rampage with tank

A MAN who allegedly attacked an electricity substation with an armoured personnel carrier in suburban Sydney has told a bail hearing he thought "he had authority to behave in such a manner".

"Defence lawyer Ivan Bertoia told the court that Patterson claimed "that certainly he had authority to behave in such a manner"."

My favourite bit is where the Fox News audience is the most clueless. Hardly surprising.

TAKE THAT, NEWS BLOGS!

That said, it's not like you could really call those stats definitive, especially if the only questions asked were those shown in the diagram. And the difference between 1989 and 2007 didn't seem quite as drastic as they'd implied. Still, I don't doubt that there's some truth to it.

I mainly get my news from the radio, because I can't be bothered to read the Internet and I barely ever sit down to watch TV (and when I do, I want to be entertained, dammit). The radio is a good news source because it doesn't demand your full attention. It sneaks the news into your brain without you having to taste it. Or a better metaphor.
