Webcomics

Postby Monkeyborg » Sat Jun 30, 2007 1:50 am

This is a thread for people to post webcomics that they think are good.

I like Sam and Fuzzy and F@NB0Y$.

Apparently Chrono Crow also reads the latter (or so says his new sig).

PA, PVP, CAD, DA and VGCats.

I rate them in roughly that order.
I am also experienced with wood.

Order of the Stick, 8-bit Theater, and Real Life. No particular order.

I forgot about DA. Haven't read it in weeks. Had a lot to catch up on.

Also, I have, indeed, started reading Fanboys. Good comic, that one. Dewitt just needs to stop whining a bit.

I'm really just getting a bit....annoyed with all the webcomics out there that are just a clone of one another.

Hmm... I used to read VGCats, but I finally got sick of waiting months for an update. Scott Ramsoomair needs to get his schist together.

I agree, though I appreciate that he has taken the initiative to improve his art. The old ones are quite difficult to look at.

Yeah, but PBF is like breathing or eating. It's just a natural part of life.

Most ongoing-story webcomics are pretty poopcakes, really. I quite like The Perry Bible Fellowship, Simulated Comic Product and Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal when I remember to visit them, though.

I'm most attached to Sluggy Freelance. I never miss a day.

I read Penny Arcade, but the rest of the gaming-themed strips just irritate me, especially Ctrl-Alt-Delete.

I just finished the entire run of OOTS, which was very good. I'll probably keep reading that one.

And yes, PBF rocks.

Hey, I find that the F@nb0y$ comic requires a user name and password now. Is that just me, or everyone? It's irritating.

If it isn't just me, how can I acquire access?

I liked Sam and Fuzzy. But then it seemed like this happened about the time that they killed the mafia council. And the party's still happening.

Back in the day, it was simple and predictable:

Sam: Blah blah blah.
Fuzzy: Blah blah.
Sam: Blah blah blah.
Fuzzy: I have committed, or am thinking of committing, some horrible atrocity.
Me: LOL

But now... it's like he ran out of jokes. HOW CAN YOU RUN OUT OF JOKES ABOUT NUNS AND CHAINSAWS?!

Buttercups are flowers, which are plants. Paper is made of plants. Scissors beats paper. Ergo, scissors beats Buttercup Festival.

Something Positive, Ask Dr. Eldritch, and Crap I Drew on My Lunch Break are all cool. I like them in about the reverse of that order.
