Here's a new template I'm going to be using soon. It's based on a webcomic that recently gave me permission to use it. It's Little Red Riding Hood stuffing the witch from Hansel and Gretel into the oven as the main female lead looks on in horror. Whee!

I couldn't tell who was speaking in the first panel. I decided it was the dark-haired guy. Also, I didn't stay in the lines. I LOSE.

I thought the last two panels needed some dialogue. But I couldn't come up with anything good.

Hm. I think you're right. This one ought to go with the one before it, which gives a better picture of what's going on. Now I know to use this as part of a set and not standalone.

Rather than start a new contest, I'll just post a new template here from another webcomic that recently gave me permission. I think this one might have more potential.

I keep being distracted by the fact that the actors look like Shaggy wearing lipstick, Bob Dylan, and Cheech Marin. And that's funny enough right there.

All they have to do now is walk into a bar.

Kupo also gets points for using an Internet meme in his comic but still being funny.

I sometimes try to pass on Internet memes to my students, but they don't really seem to catch on. The most success I had was when I used Weebl's "Badger, Badger, Badger" song with some Kindergarteners as a warm-up exercise song. Picture 20 some 5-6 year olds bouncing up and down like the badgers in that flash. Cute and hilarious at the same time.
