Make Your Own Comic 8

I've been busy making new templates for the next round of comic project workshops. Here's one of them:



It's interestingly ambiguous. Clearly she said something to make her classmates glare at her. Did she start quoting Yeats, making them jealous of her intellectualism? Did she lash out with "yo momma" jokes? Or maybe she started spouting nonsense, making fun of the whole experience in general? Feel free to draw on your personal experience at public speaking in class.

She appears to be the only girl in class.

Unless she's the teacher, in which case she appears midgetalistic.

Or maybe they all suffer from midgetitis.

I'm horrible at making these, but here are some observations I've made about the comic:
1) The only color is in the girl's barret and the carrot on the boy's shirt
2) In the second to last panel, someone is clearly yelling "SKREEE"
3) In the fifth panel those boys are...sharing desks

I believe that's a desk yelling "SKREEE." They sometimes do that when jostled. I saw it in a David Attenborough documentary.
