Mandolin music

Postby kzager » Sun Nov 11, 2007 5:15 am

So I play mandolin kind of... I'm not too good (I think the best thing I can boast playing is dueling banjos, but that's only fun if you have another person to play with... or sodomize) at it, but whatever.

Anyways, I found this website a while ago that has these really cool Mandolin MP3s: http://mandolincafe.com/mp3/

It has some gems like this which I really am frustrating myself with trying to figure out...

Some other ones if you're too lazy to pick though the bad ones:

http://www.mandolincafe.net/mp3/riotrio.mp3 (by a Brazilian band called Rio Trio - I like this song so much that I searched the internet (for maybe an hour) for an album - which I eventually got.. great stuff)

http://www.mandolincafe.net/mp3/zetterlund.mp3

http://www.mandolincafe.net/mp3/ray.mp3

http://www.mandolincafe.net/mp3/madan.mp3

http://www.mandolincafe.net/mp3/uptownmq.mp3 (Some great classical music, too. This one's Debussy's Reverie.)

http://www.mandolincafe.net/mp3/nme3.mp3 (Some Bill Monore.)

http://www.mandolincafe.net/mp3/holbrook.mp3

P.S. would this be more internet or general? I can't decide.
