We totally have the breast cancer.

My awful statement was actually originally about breast cancer,* but I felt even less comfortable making light of that than about something I have a more significant chance of getting.

A variation courtesy of my friend Neil: "Skin cancer? More like WIN cancer."

* I was on break at my previous job and the TV was on and they were talking about breast cancer and the phrase just came to me and I couldn't stop laughing at how awful it was. MY LIFE WAS CHANGED FOREVER.

That's probably because frequent pot smokers have a much higher chance of being struck in the balls.

I'm fairly confident that I will never have any serious health issues until I'm very very old.

having done meat grinding for my mom's business (she makes eggrolls and such) i can vouch that there is a lot of stuff that gets into the grinder which may or may not be removed beforehand. we always did our best to get the skin, bone and cartilage out before grinding, not only because that's kind of gross, but also because our grinder didn't like grinding that stuff. when you make literally millions of burgers though, i'm sure the grinders are much better, plus cost cutting dictates that you are not buying the best cut of meat to begin with.

Steam bubble and shockwaves, oooh!

This is really interesting and I am surprised I hadn't heard of it before... a 16 year old infant, basically. I wonder how long she will live for, and what are the extent of her cognitive abilities? The article does not delve into it much, other than mentioning that she cannot talk and she is essentially a perma-infant... it is hard to gauge what is going on in a person's mind without the ability to communicate with them.
