Re: BLURT thread

This isn't related to anything, but it is the BLURT thread so I feel justified in bringing it up. I was talking to a guy I know here at school (an admittedly awkward guy, but I haven't many friends here) and he brought up that I have dimples when I smile and asked if he could poke them. I immediately said no but he went ahead and poked my face anyway. If I hadn't been so confused I may have hit him, but instead I just indicated that I had to go. I thought he wanted a high-five as a goodbye, but he actually just wanted to sort of hold my hand in both of his. By this point I really just wanted to go, so I said something in parting which he didn't hear so he put his hand on my shoulder and asked me to repeat it. I did and was fnally able to get rid of him.

I bring this up because, clueless as I am, it seems like he's interested in me. I don't think I really want to be friends with him anymore either way, but if I'm right it would be a good enough reason to not talk to him anymore.

Be honest. Tell him you have a boyfriend and he's creeping you out; to the point of you want to stop being friends. If he doesn't get it after that, well, that's his problem then, and I will support you in your decisions after that. (lol)
...I'll still stab you.

Hear hear! (Or is it "Here here!"? Come to think of it, I have never seen it written, only heard the expression.)

I don't think I've ever had an extended conversation with him where I haven't mentioned my boyfriend. Generally that's always been enough to give a guy a hint, but he seems a little clueless and creepy. It's not like I particularly cherished his friendship anyway. He mostly just laughed at my jokes.

How many jokes did he laugh at? You owe him for those. If it's less than five, a dimple-poke will repay your debt. Between five and ten calls for awkward hand-holding. Anything more than that and you're essentially his slave now. QUID PRO QUO

If God didn't want us to use saliva for lubricant, he wouldn't have positioned it so conveniently in the woman's mouth.

Let the creep creep. Maybe he will creep into your heart... and perhaps use it as a vessel to reproduce.

As warm and inviting as a heart might seem, it is not something to deposit seed into. And it especially cannot be used as a reproduction pod.

I dunno, heartworms are pretty creepy, and they certainly use the heart as a reproduction pod.

Oh my! I should have clarified, human reproduction pod.

I was reading the Daily Mail website and they had a story about a woman they called 'the human baby factory'. This is apparently not your normal neighbourhood brick-and-mortar baby factory.

Human baby factories are terribly inefficient, even when factory farmed correctly it's hard to get more than 1 baby a year or so. They also tend to make weird babies after 40 or so.
They can't possibly compete with the assembly line process at the local Baby Depot.

I have to disagree, Slydon. I think that those specially hand-crafted home-made babies are, while more expensive, of much higher quality than the mass produced ones you find at Baby Depot. I mean, look at what happened in the Matrix. I think the reason that movie series went to crap is because of the poor quality mass produced humans used in its production.

I dunno much about this "Matrix" you insist upon, but Kirstie Alley was recently explaining to me that hand-crafted home-made babies are outrageously predisposed to autism.

Yeah, I've got nothing interesting to say. I don't care for babies, handmade or else.

I am totally SNODE IN. I ain't goin' nowhere. Fortunately the power lines are buried around here as are the phone lines so I've got power and internet and don't have to go anywhere. In fact, I got a call from "da boss" and power is out at work and has been since about 3 yesterday afternoon so hey life is good. I'll have to post some snow pictures later.
