Alright, I'm going to leave this thread for you and talk to other people on the forum in different threads. I'm happy that you're going to get therapy, but lately it seems impossible to have a conversation with you without you insulting the person or people you're talking to. I've had my say, nothing seems to have come of it, so I will ignore you now. Good luck on sorting everything out, though.

What the hell jvcc? I wasn't insulting you at all in that post. I was pointing out… oh what's the point. You've probably got me on ignore now anyway.

Im sorry jvcc. I shouldn't be acting out like I am at people. You are all trying to help me and in my, well, anger I guess I'm just throwing it back at people.

Im sorry skimba, for taking the piss out of you over Halloween. It obviously means a lot to you and I shouldn't act like a, well, a tuna sandwich over it.

Im sorry to everyone else, I've hurt way too many of you in the past few weeks, and I really wouldn't blame you if you just want me to fork off over this.

Sorry.

Let me get back to the original purpose of this thread and whine and complain that we had maybe a couple dozen trick or treaters this year, when previous years had close to 100. We have a giant bowl of candy getting un-distributed because people decided to party on a Saturday instead of drag their kids around in the dark.

I'm sorry too. I'd had a few drinks and was less cautious than I should have been. I don't think you're "more than depressed," though, honestly. I wouldn't trust these occasional "I can tell" feelings, as they seem to be pointing you in the wrong direction. But you have no reason to believe me and I have no way of convincing you, so we'll leave it at thatthat, and I'll stop being a hypocrite and actually leave this thread alone.

Sorry again, and no hard feelings.

It's funny, I'd be whining and complaining about having a dozen trick or treaters compared to...well, as few as possible. Do you really get close to 100?

We ran out of candy (bought 3 bags and had some at home, so probably around 80 kids) around 8:30. Last year had maybe 12 and a ton of left-over candy. Next year will get it right.
SYG - More candy for you then!

I'm not sure that there are even 80 kids within trick or treating range of my house! We didn't actually get a single trick or treater this year, we do normally get at least a few.

We live at the end of a super secret driveway so I've only seen them like... twice. They were fine. Children.

You have to traverse the parking lot of a truck rental company to get to my apartment, so no trick-or-treaters. Ever.

But I went out and saw a production of Rocky Horror Picture Show on Halloween night instead.

I remember some of the cray costume pictures from some of the former spamusers who were Halloween obsessed. I wish they were still around to share their exploits.

Last year (and prior years) we have typically seen upwards of 100 kids on Halloween. The lowest turnout before this last one was when Halloween fell on a school night, and even then we ran out of candy. I figured since it was a Saturday this time we would see more kids, but I guess their parents took them to parties or something instead....

I feel like an idiot right now. I've been such an ass to everyone and I really wish I could take back every stupid thing I've said because Im really wishing I didn't.

I wish I actually took on people's advice instead of just throwing it back at them. I wish I told the truth instead of lying, e.g going to a therapist.

I wish I didn't spend over 200 rickin'-frackin' pounds on visiting an escort.

Urgh.

Dude, it's fine. You apologized. That's what sticks with me, not you being an ass in the first place. Plus everyone knows you're going through a rough patch. We get it.

Also, I can't say that I've had the experience of visiting an escort, but I think most of us can say we've made poor decisions when we were horny.

Well waking up with a hangover next to someone they regret is probably a lot different than spending over 200 pounds on a stranger

Life is a horrorshow, apparently.

And nah, I've never had sex drunk, but not too long ago I had sex with two different guys I met online on the same day (not a threesome). The first guy was really, really bad in bed. He kept apologizing to me as I was trying to leave and as I was standing in the door said he hoped we could do it again sometime, which reflected a weird cognitive dissonance on his part. I accidentally said, "See ya" as a synonym for goodbye when I finally was out the door, and immediately corrected myself with, "Wait, not really. Uh, have a nice life."

I got home to find I had a message from the second guy asking if I wanted to meet up that night. At that point I figured things couldn't get any worse, so I didn't really have anything to lose. He was a lot better than the other guy the first time I hooked up with him, but we did so again a few days later and he put in zero effort. As I am not a 1950s housewife, I am not obligated to endure boring sex. So that ended too.

So, that was pretty bad. Not great anyway. I don't feel guilty about it, though, and I got some anecdotes from it.

But my larger point is that almost everyone makes embarrassing sex mistakes.

This is the whine and complain thread, it's what it's for. The problem isn't complaining, it's that you had made off-colour comments targeted at long time members of this forum who had responded in ways to help with your situation.

IanC wrote:its so easy. i could just od on my antidepressants. but i don't have the guts to do it.

Please don't. We would all be very upset here if that happened, especially those of us trying to help you out.

It seems like you feel isolated from people, and are trying really hard to reach out. I can't really know for sure what's going on in your life, but I think you should focus on getting yourself into a better place. Talking with someone you trust can help in this respect, be it a close friend or a counselor. Ultimately you are in control of your own happiness and talking it out can help greatly with finding hangups or behaviours that inhibit you from being where you want to be.

Relationships and dating are secondary to caring for yourself.

you want to know why I said I'm coming off like a stalker?

I've bumped into someone quite a few times recently. I don't know why, but I'm attracted to her. today I had an early shift, and by the time I finished it's nearly the time I normally would see her. so I wait around. whatever reason, I didn't see her.

it's not till I walked home that I realised something, I'm basically acting like a creepy stalker. waiting around to "bump" into someone. it's creepy. it's, like, only a few small steps before the police would get called.

yet why did I think it was anything but. why didn't I realize before that it's creepy and weird.

I don't know why I jumped to the idea of killing myself. not that I think anyone would miss me if I did.

I'll shut up now. im just boring everyone. im boring myself.

I've waited around hoping to bump into a person I was excited to see for exactly the same reason before. Not sure if it helps, but it's true, and it would only be creepy, in my opinion, if there was an obvious reason you shouldn't be doing it, like the person were married or were the underage person you were talking about before. You're too hard on yourself, and it leads to trying harder to not try so hard, which is impossible.

Apparently someone is stalking me on Twitter and screenshoting posts of mine and sending them to someone that has always antagonised me.

The fork? Seriously? That's creepy, isn't it? Really creepy not just creepy in my messed up mind?

I still feel like a creepy stalker re: my previous posts. I don't know. But I do know I shouldn't even entertain any thoughts of suicide. And I think that I will go to my doctor over it. Maybe it's time for a change re: my medication.
