Random Thoughts
Ever find yourself having a completely off-the-wall thought?
...
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that's right, you're Spamusers.
Random thought:
I wonder if the Count pleasures himself to algebra books. I wonder if he needs progressively harder and harder stuff in order to get himself excited, like calculus or trigonometry, eventually arriving at quantum mechanics.

Naw, after 1,832,652 years (according to Sesame Street Unpaved, whatever that is*), he seems to get just as excited over simple value incrementation as ever.
Perhaps, however, they should introduce a new song: "Counting Is A Sometimes Subject".
*It should perhaps be noted that Transylvania existed in his youth (The Batty Bat), which makes him not older than 900 years old. In addition (HA!), his old classroom's back wall (The First Day of School) displays a modern English alphabet, which further limits his age to less than 400 years old.

According to a certain definition of "random", yes. I do.
Last night it struck me that perhaps Russians should be matriots rather than patriots. HAR HAR.
Sometimes I wonder about pretty much unknowable things, like what the last word ever said or written will be. In fact, the end of humankind is a pretty interesting idea, particularly if it's not a sudden mass extinction.

I think I mentioned this somewhere here once before, but I do think often about how stupid some people are, mainly celebrities. And how I firmly believe it's a mask for some super secret sub-section of the Mensa society. I think Paris Hilton is heading it. I think the attention she gets is a part of some sort of mass hypnotism ploy. Or maybe they're all aliens conducting an experiment to discover how much nonsensical stuff a human is willing to watch, read, and hear.
I don't believe this, really. But I'd much rather assume it's true than accept the fact that people can be that stupid.

Not really, but I thought of that this morning and wanted to share it.

For the past couple of weeks, my sleep patterns have been even further than normal than I usually am. I can't get to sleep before the sun comes up, and I wake up after 1 PM. So one morning a few days ago, as I was tossing and turning around 6 in the morning or so, I was thinking about sleep cycles, and their health implications and so forth, when unbidden, a mama joke coalesced:
"Yo' mama so white, she don't even have circadian rhythm"
I don't even know if it's funny or not, but it's at least coherent, which is more than I can say for a lot of thoughts I have that close to sleep.
I'm not sure this counts as a completely random thought, but it was an odd tangent to an established train of thought.

Looks can be deceiving. You post an image of PPG in its simplest, cutesiest form, I post an image from WoW that was likely made by a furry. Point is, if you judge something by how it looks, you're the loser.
But this all probably started more because I was being a dick than because PPG is a bad show, so meh. Karma, you ain't.

Except for when that thing exists purely to look at it. Like a TV show.Chrono Crow wrote:Point is, if you judge something by how it looks, you're the loser.
Mostly I just wanted to make fun of you for making fun of someone else because they haven't watched that show.

I heard somewhere that mammals may be able to reset their sleep cycle by fasting for 12-18 hours, then eating a nutritive meal. The meal should be when you want to wake up.SemiNomad wrote:For the past couple of weeks, my sleep patterns have been even further than normal than I usually am. They noticed it happens naturally with bats and other small mammals, but hadn't done a study with people yet. Worth a shot, though. I'm going to try it next time I fly back east.
