I can draw if there are spaces available.

I think he's doing it as a fill-in-the-spaces-as-you-go thing. Feel free to move Dusky ahead of me in the drawing line. As I'm getting ready for the road trip I'm not having too much drawing time right now. But once I'm on the road, I'll have my laptop along and will have plenty of time to draw in the evenings -- what else am I gonna do stuck in a hotel? Well, OK, I got some good books to read but you know ... internet.

Ach! We're nearing the end of the list! Give me number nine and I promise to take a thousand years!

I will not take a thousand years. Give me number nine.

So is this a story or not? Because I have something and just want to make sure I'm doing it right before it gets sent out.

On the off chance that this gets moving quickly, I'm letting everyone know that I'll be out of town until Friday, and won't be able to get to it until then.

Don't panic, everyone. The haiku is in my possession. I will deliver the finished picture at dawn (not true).

Is it not traditional to wait until a message is composed before receiving it? At the very least, it's good etiquette. Maybe that's a British thing.

Is this pictionary taking place... THROUGH TIME?

Ok, I finally got it. I'll have the drawing done in about minus ten days.
