I appear to have contributed to JVCC's gift in a minor way!

The lighting in my room kinda sucks - I wish you could read this stuff better, because JVCC put a lot of hilarious detail into it. Maybe I'll go transcribe things in this thread later or something?

Oh, and of course this gift was inspired by my appetite for scrabble tiles.

Wow, that is really nice. However I have now gone blind.

I'm not sure it's lighting so much as focus-depth, as the HP DVDs and the Pokemon creature are nicely in focus.

Halls citrus cough drops. Shows what you know.

But seriously, yeah, this might be due to my shoddy camera work after all. Maybe I'll try again.

IT HAS ARRIVED! I had forgotten that I was receiving something, as I was super happy to create/pick out a gift for my giftee... so this came as a surprise, but a very very pleasant one!

First I heard the package from Loofah calling me. What is that you are saying? Tear you open and pull out your innards?
Image

Sure, I can do that!
Here's what was inside:
Image

First I pulled out the brain ice cube tray and it made my brain melt with happiness. Then I pulled out the 1-up candies and I felt my life force growing stronger with tasty excellence. And then... hmm something in a brown paper bag... what's this? A HAND STITCHED ROBO-TOWEL!? Wow! Sooooo adorable! At this point I was pretty much bursting into tears at the awesomeness of it all, no joke. Loofs, you have made me a very happy girl, I can't thank you enough! <3 <3 <3

I also made a Christmas card with a guy having been run over by Santa's sleigh, in honor of Quetz's recent injuries.

BINK, that stuff is amazing. Good job, Loofs.

Let me see if I can remember what I wrote.

Image
The front says, "Kelsey's Scrabble-o's" and in the bottom left-hand corner, "Delicious, nutritious, and educational!"

Image
The box at the top that begins with, "Oh no!" explains that the Scrabble-o Apple-o knocked the Scrabble board and now some pieces are missing, so you need to help him put them back on. Maybe I can remember the clues:
1 Across: Company that makes electronics plus another letter
2 Across: A sheep's answer to, "What's your favorite type of milk?"
3 Across: Aztec god, shortened
4 Across: Synonym for "much", minus the first two letters

1 Down: Son of Zebedee.
2 Down: Type of cracker
3 Down: Undead creature

Image
This is just a letter scramble:
NANBIKRTO
NRPEOD
AYKMT
SRMIHC
FOHALO

Then at the very bottom is a Scrabble fact that I can't remember.

On the sides are nutrition facts and a recipe.

i got my secret satan gift today but i can't put up pics until my gf comes over in two days because i can't hold up my present *and* take a picture of it at the same time. also, i hope there was nothing else in the box, as it was delivered with one of the ends missing.... :| i will say i got two things for now, that way you'll at least be sort of surprised when i show the pics later, not knowing *which* two things i ended up with :P

WOW you guys are all amazing :) I'm sorry I didn't take part this year, but my Visa expired some time ago and I wasn't sure If the USA's government would judge me trust-worthy enough to renew it, and how much time it would take. As it is, I just got it today! -- This is relevant because sometimes international packages get lost in their way to my house :(

YOU'RE ALL AWESOME!

Thanks for doing my work for me, jvcc. I don't think I expressed the awesomeness of your gift enough. The family was fascinated by the thing too.

Forgot to say, my Secret Santa gift did get sent out, on the 22nd I think.

Received! Cool stuffs, pics later.

Null: In case you didn't know, the left switch on the Jekyllizer (Atari Punk Console/Mims Oscillator) goes to the LDR (middle top), which is light sensitive, so play around with a flashlight or strobe for some cool effects in dim settings. I kind of wish I had fitted the case to it better since I did a rough measurement and then forgot about the output jack needing to fit a cable which pushed the board up and prevented the lid from closing. Also I didn't realise the middle button was a push on/push off switch instead of a momentary SPST (it's replaceable if you want to desolder/resolder the 4 wires going to it) until after I had tested it, meaning it was already in the Altoids case. I'm just happy it works, looks cool, and you are happy with it.

ok, i'm about to not check back here for a couple of days but i thought i would share my secret snata pics now while i'm thinking about it :)

first off, i got this:

Image

i will be sure to put it to good use in the coming days :P

and, after i post this pic it will not be a secret who sent me my stuff this year:

Image

that's my girlfriend holding the poster and she assures me the middle fingers are for my benefit for making her pose for a picture than any animosity to the random strangers of spamusement whom she has never met but has heard bits and snippets about over the years. i haven't decided if i'm going to get a small frame for this or just put it up with tacky tape. either way, thanks for the gifts "secret" santa ;) i hope this was everything because the package you sent it in was opened and half falling out when it arrived at my mailbox...

I figured the secret snata thing was out of the bag once you saw my return address began with S. Lydon.
