The 8 Days of Crimblemas!

Postby EvilJekyll » Mon Apr 09, 2012 9:50 pm

This went better than expected, and hopefully this will be the basis for a similar variation in the future!

EvilJekyll composed the following:
A collection of monks invoked a curse upon the spammy land: "All those who enter, shall be forced to speak in CRIMBO talk and sing carols of the holiday variety."

And thus, Fanelian, Nik, and a kind of a prick belted with glee, "On the first day of CHRISTMAS, sir steven gave to me, a free massage from Sully!"

Pondthus complied with:
Image

Ntw3k1 jollied:
On the second day of Christmas, Stevenf sent to me: Two dollar bills, and a treat from his friend named Sully.

Skimbra +1'd:
Image

JvCc debatled:
"On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me four dollars per massage, three undead WoW characters, two men fleeing the scene, and a pipe smoked sophisticatedly."

Zombie Protested and rectified:
Image

Mystifiying Decently and decadently typed:
On the fourth day of Christmas, the Art Show gave to me: four giants stomping, three questers questing, two peasants fleeing, and a member of the gentry.

EsBe gave to me:
Image

Dusk Brought in prose:
On the 5th day of christmas secret snata gave to me
FIVE BAGS OF WEED
four dancing martians
three druids maiming
two pictures leaning
and an arrogant ponce in a cape.

James scribble scrabbled:
Image

Sum Yungish Gai rattled of his wish list:
on the sixth day of christmas, my true love gave to me:

- 6 moldy kumquats
- 5 bags of weed
- 4 smoking aliens
- 3 artsy jesus
- 2 maracas
- and uatu watching over me

Fanny fan fan has the plan plan:
Image

Chrismachine timetravelled to give us:
On the seventh day of Christmas, Stevenf gave to me : 7 coconut bras, 6 “golden” eggs, 5 marijuana happy-meals, 4 stogie-smoking aliens, 3 Bob Ross / Jesus hybrids, 2 fake vaginas and a Roman emperor.

N U L L:
Image

Skimba'd:
On the 8th day of Spammas, after a sound clubbing, Steven F's spamta bag fell to the floor revealing:
8 kupo cats a-playing
7 bikini tops just-laying
6 eggs a-painting
5 hap--py meals
4 smoking aliens
3 Bob Ross'
2 disguised plantains
and a hotdog on a roman's stick!

Enter new challenger! kavendek draws:

Apologies for letting the doubled up number slip. Anyway, Seacrest out!

AsBe, is that Magicka? And if so, shouldn't Yellow be involved in some kind of misfortune?

In case it isn't sufficiently clear, the martians' marijuana smoke is meant to be ominously forming a giant Santa hat. The original idea was for there to be a giant terrifying evil smoke-formed Snata to be looming over proceedings, but it turned out I'm still rubbish at drawing. Also, I'm disappointed that I didn't manage to somehow represent the misspelling of "Santa".

Anyway, good stuff, although, as EJ said, there seems to have been some confusion as to when exactly elements were supposed to be added.

Been waiting a while to show this off, but here's the three undead characters that had to be (unfortunately) shrunk down:

This is really good all around. I especially like the last drawing.

However, I have a question...shouldn't that last drawing have a group of nine somethings to add? Otherwise it looks like a variant on the previous one.

Yeah people were alluding to that lack of clarity or whatever, but basically I love how it turned out. My vote for next time would be that every participant add something.

I quite liked this. It nearly turned out Eastery.

'an arrogant ponce in a cape' had me laughing.
