Outdoor Coffee Table Dog: The Dog Who Is On Top Of An Outdoor Coffee Table.



Jack's main outdoor resting spot used to be on the big green picnic table behind that coffee table. Nowadays I guess he's older and a bit more wary of climbing that high.

As well it should.
Growing up from about ages 8-11, there was a goat in the diagonally-behind-our-house-neighbor's backyard. In suburbia-nessville. When I was 16, I was gardening in that back corner and that same neighbors mother, who had come to live with them from Italy, had about a 20 minute conversation towards me (as I nodded my head), all in Italian.
As soon as I find the cord for the camera-to-computer, I will share pictures of the more cats I have now.

KITTIES!
These two were both cats to a friend of mine who could no longer have them. Stripe and Meisha. Meisha is about 11 human years and Stripe is about 4. Meisha is still mean to my original cat . Stripe loves everybody and everything.


We call Meisha "Turkey Meatball-head" because she has the body of a turkey and a tiny head. This picture is not the best example of that statement. This picture is all about kitty-belly.


The unoffical name of Stripe is now "Stripe R. McDoodle/McGhee" because we can.
He is also a HUGE cat. Not fat...huge.

This cat was living in our backyard.
I had a dream that two men came looking for a cat and described the one living in the backyard. I said I had it. I asked them what it's name was, and they said "Mozart's Sister" and I said "Ah...my cat has a two-word sounding name also". So, when I woke up we started calling it Mozart...thinking it was a boy. After further inspection, it IS a girl and her 'show' name is "Maria Anna Mozart - Mozart's sister". We just call her Mozart.
One night I couldn't take it anymore and brought her inside. Now that I found my camera cord, we are going to put posters up in the neighborhood to see if her original owner wants her back. If not, she's staying..meaning FOUR cats and a catass. I can't be the Crazy Cat Lady, because I am not single. Crazy Cat-Couple it is.
She haz serious mouth.


And, of course, MorganFay...prowling boxes during the move.

Meisha is still mean to my original cat . Stripe loves everybody and everything.

In my experience, male cats tend to be very open to new cats and enjoy their company. Female cats hate everything, especially if everything is cat-shaped.

You could go more subtle and name him Harvey Dent or something.

I was considering Harvey, but that's my dad's name so that'd be misconstrued. Then Dent sounds strange. Harvey Dent is kind of the leader of the board here.

And heres our latest rat, Ben!. We've had him for a little while now. Hes older, but we arent sure how old. Him and his 3 brothers were dumped in a stable Sadly 2 of his brothers died before they were found, and his remaining brother (Called Bill by the vets) had to be put to sleep
But Ben is doing well, and, well, just look at him! Hes so lovely
