I still went to work when I broke or sprained my toe the other week, but about 45 minutes before I would normally clock out I released that my shoe actually felt smaller because my injured digit had swollen up considerably.

Thank you internet, for disconnecting whenever the phone rings. Anyway, as I was saying, oh yes your foot thing. Did you still have your party?

I was told a this story about a maths teacher by the maths teacher we had on the same corridor. He'd been teaching a class with his door open and the teacher across the corridor was teaching a nightmare class that he couldn't control. The teacher across the corridor exploded and was yelling all sorts of things, up to a point where he threw one girl out of the classroom for not wearing her uniform correctly or, in his words, looking 'like a slut'. After the lesson, the girl and teacher across the corridor spent a good 10 minutes acting out an argument along the lines of:

'I'm going to complain, you called me a slut!'
'I never called you a slut, I said you look like a slut!'

And so on.

She should have just retorted "thanks for clarifying - now I'm going to head to the office and report that you said I looked like a slut." and walked off.

I saw a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream for a class tonight. It was advertised as a "bacchanal", which essentially translated to "lots of nudity and dirty dancing". So I've had a fun time.

Lack of sleep and stress? I got four or five flu-like viruses (or maybe actual flus, I can't be sure since the health center they set up students can't properly diagnose anything), pinkeye twice or thrice, and a few colds. I was also always coughing. This semester I've only gotten pinkeye and a mild cold.

I like the positive attitude. I'm going to try and make my weekend awesome also! Yea. I just wish it would get here already.

Edited for spelling error I noticed. Whoo!

I say, it's Fan. Has it been a while, or have I just not been paying attention? I usually don't notice whether people are here or not. Well either way, it's good to hear that you are sure to have an excellent weekend. Myself, I'm expecting a solid so-so.

I know a lot of men are unfamiliar with the female body, but a period is not an illness.

March break for me... spent the whole weekend tearing down my shower tiles and old boards, putting up new boards and screwing that all in, then putting up about 30% of the tiling. Hoping to finish the tiling tomorrow, grout the next day, then seal it so we can make use of our only washing station again by Friday. Good times. If there is time I would also like to do a new comic or two.

Well, my durned immune system I was so proud of has failed me. I've caught some sort of stomach virus. I went to my first class but soon realized it would be better to just go home and lie in bed and eat saltines and drink ginger ale and long for death.

I don't get it, either. I didn't even know about the phone number thing. It's like sites have this compulsion to have you link this site to that site and that site to the other site, but at least it's been optional for most things. Why can't I just have a YouTube account and not a Google one?

Speaking of YouTube, in my head, I pretty much always say it in the same tone as the announcer in Super Smash Bros. Melee says "MewTwo".

It's those dang kids. They're germ factories.

if your account gets hijacked, google will send you a reactivation code via SMS to get control back. you should be able to opt out of it though...
