Re: BLURT thread
Went to see Batman v Superman today with Maria. Film was good. Really enjoyed it.
And we kissed. Not much. A peck on the lips. But erm, yeah.

Yeah, though im kinda fretting because the kiss was kind a spur of the moment thing and not sure how its going to affect our relationship, lol.
But we are going to see each other again soon, so yeah, err, yay.
Re: BLURT thread
Well it can't have done that much damage, then. Good luck for your next meeting!

Re: BLURT thread
I don't know why but I feel like my post makes it sound like I forced myself on her or something??
We hugged, and it just happened naturally.
Looks like it will be in a week or so we'll see each other again

So, my brain changed the Spiderman theme all on it's own. "Spiderman, Spiderman, tastes like good old-fashioned lemonade." Now I can't get it to go back to normal.

I have a similar thing when I listen to NPR and they do the ad voice-over. I always change it to "The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, who believe all people deserve the Herman Miller Aeron chair"

Well Leicester City have done it, won the Premier League. From a 5000-1 joke bet outsiders, to number one team in the country. What a fairy tale.
There's going to be a hell of a lot of hangovers in the morning, isn't there?

I'd say so! I've seen some crazy ones, but even without appreciating the full effect by virtue of only being a casual foreign fan, it seems crazier than the ones I've seen here.

Re: BLURT thread
Well, that's too bad. Hopefully something you can shake off. I had a debrief for why I wasn't given a Vice-Principal job for next year, which was a tough conversation to have too. It's necessary to grow, but it was tough to hear what my direct supervisors had indicated were my areas of weakness and stuff, although the part about coming up with a plan to provide me opportunities for growth in those areas was definitely worth the bruised self-esteem.

Re: BLURT thread
I'm much better now. Apparently just needed my once-a-quarter-of-a-century breakdown. And I fixed the lawn mower.
Sorry to hear about you not getting the position, chrism. Sometimes we have to just take it all in, suck it up, and then progress. Future good luck for next year though!

Re: BLURT thread
I hope it doesn't get hotter up here. I mean I know I shouldn't complain but we've had a number of days up in the mid-to-high 30s, which for us is pretty extreme. Still, it will be -20 in 4 months so I'll take it.
