did you actually live through the 80s?

If you don't know where it belongs, it belongs here.

i need your help remembering the name of a musician who only had one hit song between 87-89. she played keyboard, had a spiky braided mullet and a nose ring connected by a chain to her ear. i don't remember her song or her name, but i just need to remember her name, so if you can help a woman's life may be at stake

ok, not really, just looking for anyone who remembers this lady....

I dunno, but she sounds like she should be turning tricks down the street. And she probably is.

Jane Child.

Then I looked her up to make sure.

Yep.

Glad my wealth of "usless" stuff can help now and then.

I found this title funny. I was going so say something sassy like 'no, I died in the 80s', but what would be the point, I probably wouldn't fool any of you for a second. You guys are too sharp for me by far.

I find it so weird that people born in the '90s are as old as they are. You guys should be in primary school or something!

Did I live through the '80s?

The whole thing. Fortunately, I had just turned 1 a week before they started, so significant portions aren't taking up space in my memory.

I was born at the very tail end of the 80's. As such, I hold a certain disdain for birthdates /90 or after. I just... don't trust them. :?

It's what happens when you realize you're getting old. Or is it the other way around?

I was born on 1981. So all I remember from the 80's are the President change of 88 and Cartoons.

For some reason I have this notion that Nik is a year or two older than me, but I believe it's actually a matter of a few months. Weird hey.

Bah, 31 isn't old. 32 is old.

;)

Isn't it funny how we always want to be older when we're young, and we can't stand being older when we get there?
