I'm a bit frightened. Will it be too awesome for me to handle?

That depends on how much awesome you can handle.

I'm about halfway finished, and I think this is the most epic thing I've ever drawn.

Hmm... Perhaps I could use the unholy power of my post count to increase the awesomeness of my picture...

Wait, I just messed it up, didn't I?

Binkatron: What was it that made the negotiations between humans and aliens turn sour, and how did it happen? Choose your favorite medium.

Ok! Ideas floating... may take me a few days before this gets done though.

Also, I just remembered that someone... I think Ponder? ... gave me a prompt I never finished. The idea was all laid out, and I was pestering James to help with some coding stuffs, and then Ploooof it left my brains altogether.

Edit: Nope it was Null! I was supposed to make a prompt-giver.

I'm still working on my mission. The background is done and the general layout and composition of the rest of the scene has been determined. Its just a matter of finding time to finish it ;)

*dramatic music*

WHAT WILL BE HIS NEXT POST? It better be substantial and incredible and head-explodingly awe inspiring ;)

Is there a way to check what my 1000th post was? I have no clue! I bet mine was incredibly dull.

Mine was a comic featuring Troy Powell. It was poor.

Mine was supposed to also be my 100th comic as well, but I kind of got ahead of myself.

I want to see something with a whale--of an unusual color.

(This is sorta related to the Moby Dick open prompt I gave a while back, but not limited to it.)

Done,

Well, gonna do anyway

Ok, so "a while" turned out to be a bit of an understatement

Here's the whale:

Image

The problem I ran into with this is that I tried to give the whale the colouring of my pet rabbit.

And I realised about half way through that black and white isn't an unusual colouring for a whale...

Well I guess it is for a sperm whale.

I also tried to give it hair, it looked like crap and I out it away for a bit.

I think I can now safely say that I'm never going to finish it.

That's pretty cool. How did you make it? It looks a bit like paper mache over wire.

There's no wire or glue, but you're close.

I make shapes out of paper and crêpe and wrap them thighly in gauze.

After that I cover the entire thing in acrylic paste.

Well, this is banging around my head, so...

Anyone, depict the following in the visual medium of your choice:

A mythical bird anthro looking annoyed at the charred remains of his woodshop. "This always happens when I die at work," he mutters.

Use the medium of your choice to depict a robot cover band which exclusively plays David Bowie songs.

I know this is not a band, and I fully intended to (and may sometime continue to) draw the whole band but I have been told by my boss that I can go home early today (woo!) and I love me the Robowie I'm done with, so, here it is for your enjoyment in the meantime:
