Unfinished Works

[Blasphemy]

I wasn't sure what to do with this, so I thought I'd make a new thread here for things that people start, but don't finish, for whatever reason.

This is a incomplete, crudely-drawn version of an idea I got a way back when I saw a certain subject line. Originally, I had planned to do it in full color, but as I got more and more ideas, the project quickly got out of hand, and I decided to scrap the entire idea, since I'd never be able to do it justice.

Last week, I decided to scribble through it, just to give people an idea of what I was going to do, but even at a vastly reduced level of quality, drawing the multi-panel cartoon proved to be tedious and time-consuming.

So I gave up on it. But I had already drawn a fair amount of stuff, and I'd hate to see it all go to waste, so, without furthur ado:

I think unfinished projects are the only ones I can do. Last year, I posted some sculptures I had mocked up, but I haven't done anything with them since then. Another project on continuing hiatus is a wall hanging made out of plastic hubcaps. Here's my initial concept sketch



Then I took pictures of the hubcaps I had collected and did this PowerPoint/MS Paint mock up



Then I actually began construction. Part of the reason I haven't finished this, besides school stuff, is the fact that I no longer have this workbench. The top, which I scavenged, turned out to have termites in it.

Some people get something that looks like two eyes and a nose burnt into their tortilla and see "Heyzeus" so who knows.
