either that, or "i f*ck anything that moves", take your pick...

I've found that to be Miniature "insert breed here".

well, in my mind i'm thinking of all the half black lab, half <insert breed here> dogs that are running around.

Did you know the number one medical problem with Australian Cattle Dogs is accidental injury?

Sudden inspiration (I had "Star of the County Down" stuck in my head) + let's say... questionable... level of talent + trying to draw it rather quickly + only having coloured pencils at hand = this:

Oh, and the scanner doesn't seem to like picking up greens, so that didn't help.

I drew a bunch of doodles today. Here they are.

First, some pokemon.

Go, PURRLOIN!
Image

Wait, no, that's all wrong. Go, LILLIPUP!
Image

Lillipup's 'COOL FACE LOOK' caused your opponent to faint!

A wild TRUBBISH appears!
Image

Ok, that's enough pokemon. Now TIME FOR MY AWESOME DOG.

My mom's employee said his "IN TRAINING" bandanna looked like a cape today.
Image

He has a big giant bone and he loves to carry it around even though it sometimes makes him fall forward.
Image

And he does this sometimes. The vet said not to be too worried.
Image

Ok, some random ones.

My coworker:
Image

I accidentally wrote "do the fished" instead of "do the dishes" earlier.
Image

And a very exciting drawing of me being sad and drunk.
Image

I hope you enjoyed KATY DOODLE EXTRAVAGANZA.

Wook at her nubby widdle arms in the frozen-puppy one, awww!

My bf needed a caricature of himself for work, so I drew a few for him. This one is my fav! ^_^

The frozen ice dog was in response to "WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT." I replied "MY DOG, ONLY MADE OUT OF ICE."

Hi! It was my boyfriend's birthday not too long ago, so I painted him this:
Image
I didn't have as much time to spend on it as I'd've (can I use that many apostrophes in a word???) liked, hence the really crappy background and shaky improvised lettering. Still, I thought it was fun!

The top one makes me want to squish things inbetween my fingers.
The bottom one makes me drop the stuff in my hands and walk away.

Do you paint with oils?

A friend of mine is going to show me how to use oils when I have my craft room set up. Any tips? It looks like so much fun! You can blend!

I don't have any tips on technique--that's much easier to pick up in one-on-one with an instructor, or through observation. I would advise you to have several canvases going at the same time, though. Since oil takes a long time to dry, this can help alleviate the impatience that arises, since you can work on another picture while the first one dries.
