I like the idea of making the cat a wifi hotspot. I mean, if she's going to be constantly underfoot, one may as well make the best of it!

Hmm.. I don't think my g/f'll be too happy with that. Besides, I doubt he'll extend the range too much

Thanks! :D
There's something I want to do with the Mia character, since she's based on one of my friends, but I'm actually afraid to do it, lest it become gimmicky. So I've left it vague for now, so if it's resolved in later comics, these ones will still make sense...

...and no, I'm not making her lesbian.

She has a flavor.

That cat looks deranged.

and of course, being a cat, it's going to cause the destruction of all that is good and holy if you dare disturb its beauty sleep

We solved the problem of the cat pushing everything (pictures in frames, decorative tins, awards) off the heater or breaking our Christmas card basket. We went to Costco (our local wholesale store) and picked up a box that used to hold granola bars or something. we cut off the high sides and now he sleeps in it all the time.

If I don't provide a cardboard box for my cat, everything that can be scratched and mutilated will be.

I've already had to remove the screens from my windows, because I came home to find my blinds beat up and the kitten hanging from the window like a Garfield car ornament. :P

Unrelated... I should've picked a higher resolution for drawing.. even though I scale them down for the web.. the originals are only 1400px wide, which even at 200dpi makes for a 7" wide comic.

That's why I love Illustrator; its native format is all vectors so it scales to whatever the hell I tell it to. BOO YAH! 8)

Awesome sig/avvy combo, Nik. I love the animated sequences in that comic.

I was thinking of putting one in my sig, but I don't want too many pictures in my sig... Maybe I will later. It's such a great comic.

Any pictures in your sig = too many.

But I have AdBlock, so hey, knock yourself out.

Well, I don't block the Jamesig, but then, it's a source of continuing entertainment. Especially now.
