Was this comic inspired by the recent upsurge in reality tv shows that take various scenarios and require that the participants not wear any clothing? Naked Dating and [/i]Naked and Afraid[/i] spring to mind. I've only seen the latter (not by choice), and it involves two naked "survivalists" who hang out at a base camp for ages, occasionally encounter stock footage animals, and finally hike somewhere else.

Absolutely. I'm surprised they haven't done Naked Finding Bigfoot yet, although Hillbilly Octopus is sort of real.

I only ever saw that program once. A dimwit decided to drink water from a stream in a jungle/detailed set and ended up being carried out on a stretcher before being hospitalised for some period of time.

I never noticed that this comic has its own TV Tropes page.
