If they'd bought the equipment at S-Mart this would never have happened.

I not only fail to understand who the third guy is and why he's there, but I'm also very creeped out.

ok, so, i have a fever, and no glasses, and i really read this as 'There's No Better Time Than the [b]President[/b and the line had me in hysterics, and then I opened it, was confused for a few moments, and then realized my misjudgment.

I can't figure out whether the third guy is Winston Smith, James Hook, or Jesus, but I like it anyway.

*googles Bruce Campbell*

Hmm, probably not him.

Bruce Campbell's character from Evil Dead I & II and Army of Darkness (it'd be more obvious if he was wearing his chainsaw-prosthetic).

But then I would've gotten gripes from people who remembered he didn't have the chainsaw in that scene.

I haven't seen any of those movies, so I guess I just don't get the comic at all. Can I pretend it's a 1984 reference?

No. You need to go forward, into the past, in order to get back to the future. :)

Well, yeah, I have seen that movie. But now I get the feeling I need to have seen the other ones to get the joke.
