The thing is that any word that ends in "-ness" can also end in "-nesses", so that always helps me get the 13.

I don't like that it stops after you have done x amount of words with x amount of letters. I got stopped at 7-letter words and was all WTF?

Not so much a "game" per se, but Boxcar2D generates a vehicle out of random shapes and wheels, and runs timed trials on them. The best of that batch becomes the seed for the next trials, where the game makes mutations of it and tries them out. The best of that batch goes on to the next trial, and so on, and it's neat watching the evolution of your vehicle. I've been letting mine run for a while today and it's up to 739 for distance.

That reminds me of an old Flash game where you made a vector-based pseudo-biological automaton monstrosity that fumbled its way around a course to a goal or something. The evolution angle is very cool, however.

I'd be interested to know more about how it works. Does it "breed" the vehicles at all, or does it keep starting chains iterating on the best car yet?

God, I think I might end up watching this for the rest of my life.

Hmm. I'm up to generation 13 (mmost cars are getting to around 485m), and it evolved me a car with no wheels. Just a pile of boxen. Go boxen go!

Oh and James: The FAQ says the cars are bred from combining the previous generation's most successful cars. l2r n00b lulz0rz
