I got a job by the way. I haven't started yet. I will be selling people things at the Democratic Republic of Bananas in the Eaton Centre! Very exciting. I completely failed to convice the manager that I knew anything about sales or fashion, but I think she decided I would be willing to learn based on my earnest desire to get out of temporary office work. They're checking my references now, which will hopefully go without a hitch. Ex-managers are difficult to track down.

Yeah it's a decent place to be working, but it doesn't where I'm living right now. I'm about 20 minutes away on the subway (the journey takes about 50 minutes total), which ain't too bad. I'd like to move closer to town at some point though.

Okay, okay, I'm good. I have shifts next week, money approaches. And I got my first paycheck! It is fifty dollars. That's good, because it means I can buy food this weekend. Or I could have done, but the bank closedearlier than I expected. So, I shall be living off what remains of my past extravagance. It's okay; there was enough extravagance to be dealing with.
