Ditto. Although in my case I rarely laugh at any of his stuff. Some of it is just a bit too mean-spirited for my tastes, even if it all turns out to be completely made up.

DETECTIVE WORK. Because I want to avoid doing schoolwork.

Initial observations:
• His/her last post was in 2009, so they may not be an active member here anymore.
• The first bar mentioned is in Oakland, CA.
• The second bar mentioned is in Albany, CA.
• The third bar mentioned is in San Francisco, CA.
• It's clearly a man, because all of the bathroom pictures include urinals, and one of them includes a shot of his hairy legs.
• Two more bars in Oakland, one more in San Fran.
• He enjoys bikes.
• He is originally from Wyoming.

So if it is a spamuser we're looking for a youngish male from Wyoming who now or recently lived in or around the triangle created by Oakland, Albany, and San Francisco who enjoys bikes and drinking/clubbing.

EDIT
WTF Is Juice made this comment about Wyoming and last posted in 2009 AND apparently he worked for the University of California in Berkley, which is close to the aforementioned triangle.

Not so much "funny" as "fun read", Stephen Fry reviews the iPhone 4S.

It's interesting to note that Fry is something of an unabashed Apple fan, but I wouldn't say he quite crosses over into "fanboydom". But reading the comments section you can see he sure attracts the anti-Apple fanboys. Ugh.

Of course, as y'all know, I'm a technology agnostic, myself.

This isn't wholly related to what you're talking about, but in his documentary Stephen Fry and the Life of the Manic Depressive he went to an electronics store with a therapist and bought things which he already owned multiple copies of. She kept trying to ask him if he needed those things, but he couldn't not buy them. It was very heartbreaking.

I got called an "iCultist" the other day.

Of course, i wasn't dancing on Steve Jobs grave, unlike this lovely fellow -
http://stallman.org/archives/2011-jul-o ... ve_Jobs%29
Steve Jobs, the pioneer of the computer as a jail made cool, designed to sever fools from their freedom, has died.

As Chicago Mayor Harold Washington said of the corrupt former Mayor Daley, "I'm not glad he's dead, but I'm glad he's gone." Nobody deserves to have to die - not Jobs, not Mr. Bill, not even people guilty of bigger evils than theirs. But we all deserve the end of Jobs' malign influence on people's computing.

Unfortunately, that influence continues despite his absence. We can only hope his successors, as they attempt to carry on his legacy, will be less effective.

If you can't goes, said person is apparently a higher up in the so called "open source movement"

So yeah.

What's "so-called" about the open source movement? It's a clearly defined and well-labelled thing.

But yeah, it's pretty decidedly unpleasant to use somebody's death as a platform for a political message. He's done some good things, but I think he's got a tendency towards extremity.

While I was looking for some stuff I ran across this old thread. It's a shame none of those people post here anymore. :(

Horse eComics. The concept is kind of similar to spamusement itself, except all of the comics are inspired by spam tweets from one particular twitter account.

Old People Writing On A Restaurant's Facebook Page. I don't love everything on here - a lot of these are just short compliments to chain restaurants, which I don't find that funny. I'm more about things like the woman who is trying to find her long lost friend Sharon Roadhouse, the man who wants to know if a hot dog is a sandwich, or the man accusing Arby's of communism.

It's a cross between a sandwich and a taco.
