jvcc posted one of my other favorites, which I didn't link to because it didn't really fit any of my "categories".

Super Mario Dog. I'm putting this here because we don't have a vine thread.

What bugs me is that the music doesn't resume in the right place. Otherwise good.

Yes, that be amusing.

Citation Needed. This has been around for a while, but it's new to me - the tagline is "The Best of Wikipedia's Worst Writing", which pretty much explains it. My favorite discovery while looking through their archives is the fact that wikipedia has a an index of Simon & Garfunkel members - go ahead and guess how long that list is.

Times Haiku. Basically, they set up a computer program to scan for sentences in New York Times articles that have the right amount of syllables to scan as haiku. Not always funny, but it can be, sometimes. Actually, what I find interesting is that occasionally you'll get something that's close enough in content to an actual haiku, or at least something that sounds deep out of context.

Sometimes I forget that not all people are as well versed in internet spam as some proud, lucky few (PSST: I AM SUBTLELY REFERRING TO US). So behold, a community that not only fails to recognize a spammer, but repeatedly upvotes their post:

It's amazing how many of these work as unintentional responses to each other. this is a particularly silly example.
