Okay, it's the ultimate geek's comic. But despite being based around a huge D&D game, it's actually really funny and the story, while never really serious, can get pretty interesting, at times.

this comic makes me want to play D&D even though I only played when I was really little and I didn't know how, my brothers just let me play in their games (they always made me be a thief for some reason)

I actually stumbled across that place barely a day after I found this one. At least I think that's how it works out. I know that OotS is listed after Spamusement in my favorites list, and that's pretty much in chronological order.

I feel really bad for Haley, apparently her family abandoned her or something, and she blames herself. Also there is the whole thing about her hoarding money in order to save her Dad.

I like how they're finally giving the characters. . . well, character. Full-blown backstories. Haley's is pretty sad. I'm curious as to what Belkar's and V's are. Especially V.

I just finished reading all of the episodes. I like it alot. Especially Belkar - he's what I'm like why I play - I sometimes hack and slash old musty skeletons and inanimate objects just for the heck of it. And kill everything except the team.

Wow. I never paid much attention to V's androgyny. But you're right, they never really specify. Hm. Still, I hope they give a backstory for him/her.

I always thought they were jokes towards his sexuality, not his gender.

People see/hear what they want to, Chrono.

Anyway, the first comic V was in, I thought "Gee, I'm stupid... is that a he or a she?" Then they began to make jokes about it - it turned out I wasn't that stupid after all! In a few of the comics, ...it... does room with Haley, though, which leads me to think ...it... is a she. Someone should put the gender-changing belt on V and see what ...it... becomes!
